The key when assembling your hydroponic lighting system lies in 2 components. First is deciding what you will do with all the heat generated from the bulbs. With some systems burning in excess of 1000 watts, there is a tremendous amount of heat to be disbursed - unless, of course, you wish to cook your veggies before you pick them! Then you need to keep this in mind when determining the size and quantity of ventilation fans and ducts as well as the height of the lights in relation to the tops of your plants.
